Health Guarantee and contRACT

Every effort has been made to provide you with a healthy puppy. Hawaii Corgis guarantees that all vaccinations (excluding rabies) and wormings are up to date and have been given as stated on the vaccination health record.*  

Your puppy is guaranteed for 1 year, from date of birth, against any serious congenital problems that could 

affect the life or quality of life of your puppy. If the puppy is found to have a serious congenital defect, the Buyer has 48 hrs. from the Vet exam to notify the Breeder for an exchange. The illness must seriously impact the puppy’s quality of life or cause the puppy to have to be put to sleep. A signed document from the Veterinarian is required stating the defect or problem. We do reserve the right to a second opinion.  If you proceed with treatment and do not contact us before treatment is started, the guarantee we offer will then become VOID.   

This Guarantee is only for death or serious illness caused by genetic defects of the heart, liver, kidneys, lungs or other major organ. The Buyers licensed Veterinarian must provide the Seller with a written document stating the exact cause of death (or illness) as verified by a copy of the Necropsy. If the death was caused by a genetic defect listed above and not neglect by the buyer, and the Sellers Veterinarian agrees with the findings, the puppy will be replaced with one of equal value as soon as one is available. Cash refunds are not given. If these regulations are not met the Guarantee becomes null and void. 

If all of the above guidelines are met, we would then replace the puppy with a puppy of equal value when available. 

Breeder will not be responsible for Parvo or Corona virus after 48 hrs. as these are such highly contagious diseases that can be contracted immediately after leaving the Breeder.  The Breeder will not be responsible for any vet bills incurred for things such as neglect of Buyer causing low blood sugar problems or diseases developed after the 72 hrs. of vet exam on receipt of puppy.  

The Seller will not be responsible for any Veterinarian expenses, or expenses incurred to have the puppy returned to the Seller.  We do not guarantee  size, coat, color, testicles, bite or Patellas once the puppy has left our premises. Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is not a genetic condition and is susceptible to all toy breeds.

Buyer further swears that he is not associated with a pet shop or animal broker, and that this animal will not be used or trained for activities which are illegal.

In the event that the Buyer is unable to keep the dog or provide an appropriate home in accordance with this agreement, buyer agrees to notify the Breeder if any such contingency should arise and will not abandon the dog to a shelter. Breeder will take the dog back (no refund will be given), and find the dog an appropriate home.

The Buyer agrees that he or she understands this contract fully, and that the contract is under the jurisdiction of the State of Hawaii.

We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason. If we decide that the puppy is not the right fit for you, we will refund your deposit.
